WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT SCHOOL SHOOTINGS?

Where does someone get the idea to go into a school and randomly shoot people that they may not even know? I think they get it on THE NATIONAL NEWS.

Isn't the purpose of National News to keep the nation informed of things that we NEED TO KNOW but wouldn't find out locally. Specifically, their job is to keep Washington politicians as honest as possible. Instead, they focus on sensational violence wherever it occurs. This is not surprising.

The politicians like this because, if we're worrying about children, we're not watching them.

Forgive me, but the fact is, until those kids died, we didn't know they existed. My heart goes out to their families, but it does us good to tell us about it and I think it makes things worse.

If the NEWS hadn't blanketed the airwaves with these stories, no one outside of those towns would know about it and demented idiots everywhere would't be motivated to do the same thing.

Maybe WHAT WE CAN DO ABOUT SCHOOL SHOOTINGS IS CALL and WRITE our LEGISLATORS and FORCE them to make the NATIONAL NEWS stick to reporting on national news and stop searching for sensational LOCAL stories that would have no impact without their help.

Congress sure as hell isn't going to do it on their own.
